Today I will show you how to use a digital planner on your iPhone – from downloading a note-taking app like GoodNotes 5 to using a digital sticker. I walk you through the digital note taking basics on iPhone, but you can use GoodNotes on your iPad and Mac. With iOS and GoodNotes, you can sync digital planners across your iPhone, iPad or Mac. Sometimes you have a busy day and don’t want to bring your iPad with you, you can make your plan and check your to do list on your phone, it’s easier for people on the go.

1. HOW TO DOWNLOAD A NOTE-TAKING APP?
Open App Store and search for GoodNotes. The latest version is GoodNotes 5 and it requires one-time purchase, once the payment is processed you can download the app on your iPhone.
2. HOW TO IMPORT A DIGITAL PHONE PLANNER?
Open the pdf digital planner, click the icon at the bottom of the file ( 
), and choose Open in GoodNotes. Then click Import as New Document. You can also choose Save to Files and open the planner later.
3. HOW TO USE HYPERLINKS IN THE PLANNER?
Make sure that you switch to Read Mode to use the hyperlinks in the planner. Click the pen shaped icon at the upper right corner to switch between Write Mode and Read Mode.
4. HOW TO DUPLICATE A PAGE?
Click the page shaped icon with a plus sign located at the upper left corner ( 
), then choose Add Page=>Current Template. You can easily duplicate a spread in the planner as needed.
5. HOW TO SELECT PEN STYLE AND USE A HIGHLIGHT?
Switch to Write Mode, choose the pen style and adjust the tip sharpness and pressure sensitivity to fit your needs. Then you can use your stylus pen to write in your planner. Use the highlighter icon if you’d like to highlight something.
6. HOW TO USE DIGITAL STICKERS?
Save the zipped sticker folder in Files, i.e., iCloud Drive=>Desktop Folder. Then pick a digital sticker and paste it into the planner. You can also adjust the size of the sticker.
7. HOW TO REMOVE A PAGE?
If you don’t like to keep the duplicate page, click the three dots icon ( 
) on the upper right corner and choose move to trash. Choose Clear Page if you don’t want to keep the changes that you made on that page.
8. HOW TO DUPLICATE/ EXPORT/ REMOVE A PLANNER?
Go back to the home page of GoodNotes 5, select Duplicate if you want to duplicate a planner. Click Export if you want to export the planner, for example, you can choose export options like PDF or Image. If you click Move to Trash, the planner will be removed from the app.
